ABOUT US
Bray Commercial Division specialises in a wide range of manual isolation and automated control valves for key sectors such as Building Services (HVAC), District energy (heating and cooling) and Data Centres.
We understand the challenging requirements of our customers and recognise that the success of our customer is our success.
Therefore we are always focussing on servicing our partners, OEMs and contractors to ensure you receive the most effective and economical valve solution package.

MARKETS WE SERVE
HVAC
Wherever valve performance is required to maintain climate controlled environments, Bray can provide the required automated valves to meet the demanding flow applications within new construction and retrofit installs, including Tall Building applications where higher static pressure are usually involved.
DISTRICT ENERGY
The safety, efficiency and performance of a District Energy network is only ensured by the use of high performance components through which the heating or cooling is delivered.
DATA CENTRE
Mission Critical Infrastructure requires dependable, high performing and energy efficient product solutions to ensure lifetime reliability and maximum uptime.
SECTOR INTEGRATION & SUSTAINABILITY

From a sustainability perspective, Data Centres are being challenged to minimise the use of natural resources, transition to carbon neutrality and to implement the exportation of its waste heat. With up to 40% of a Data Centres power being used to cool its servers, modern systems are therefore being designed to maximise the use of “free-cooling” without the need for evaporating any water.
In such water cooled applications, Pump energy costs are a significant contributor to the total electrical load and PUE-rating of the facility. The correct selection of isolation and control valves can help reduce the overall Pump energy costs saving up to 10,000 EUR per MW per year.
UPTIME OPTIMISATION
According to the Uptime Institute, one of the most common non-compliance trends of Concurrent Maintenance criteria for Tier III and Tier IV Data Centres, is the “inadequate coordination between the number and location of isolation valves in the chilled water distribution path”.
Making the right selection and usage of isolation valves, not only ensures compliance but can also facilitate a more cost-efficient system design, impacting on both Capex and Opex outlay.
Mission Critical Infrastructure relies on dependable, high performing equipment and components, where lifetime reliability and performance are essential. The choice of the materials of construction can have a direct effect on the lifetime performance and durability of control and isolation valves and therefore need to be carefully selected according to the medium being controlled, be it Chilled Water, Sea Water or Clean Water.
SECTOR INTEGRATION & SUSTAINABILITY
Heating and cooling accounts for half of the EU’s energy consumption and is currently 75% fossil-fuel based.
To succeed with the future energy transition, decarbonising our heating and cooling supply is essential. Energy efficiency and the smart integration of renewable energy through sector coupling will become more necessary, with Data Centres playing a critical role in supplying “waste” heat to the energy grid of tomorrow. End-to-End product and system solutions will facilitate sector integration and simplify the design and installation process for such projects.
COMMITMENT TO QUALITY
We recognise that “our customers make us successful” and they have a choice of many manufacturers when selecting valves, actuators and accessories for their applications.
Since many manufacturers have access to the same materials of construction for these products, Bray believes that a customer’s purchase decision is heavily influenced by the following key factors:
- Confidence in the Quality Assurance
- Proven industry experience
- Design Integrity
- Responsiveness
- Customer service
- Global footprint & value
